5 Ingredient Cacao & coconut bliss balls

These No Bake bliss Balls are Vegan, gluten & dairy free. They taste incredibly good and you only need 5 simple ingredients to make them.

Sometimes it can be hard to stop our food cravings, especially if we’re stressed or our lives get a little hectic. If you need to eat something sweet, you should try these 5-ingredient raw cacao bliss balls, they taste incredibly good and you only need 5 ingredients to make them.

Feel free to use your favorite nuts (I used walnuts, but I also love pecans and almonds). I only eat unsalted raw nuts because salted and fried nuts aren’t good for our health and sometimes they also have some additives or preservatives.

You can be creative as you like and have fun making them. There are so many ingredients you can use to make these balls such as cinnamon, pumpkin spice or nutmeg, seeds, superfoods or dried fruits, it’s almost impossible go wrong with this recipe!

I love using dates to naturally sweeten these bliss balls and with most of my baking, because they are loaded with fiber and essential minerals, like calcium and iron

Makes around 10/12 balls depending on how big you want them and can always double up on ingredients to make more.

  • 1 cup of Cacao powder
  • 1 cup of Unsalted walnuts
  • dash of water or almond milk/any plant based nut milk
  • 3 medjool dates
  • 1/2 cup of desiccated coconut

  1. Put all the ingredients into a blender in the order listed apart from the coconut .
  2. Blend for 45-60 seconds or until you have a nice dough consistency. You might have to add a dash of water to make them less dry but the tiniest amount.
  3. Roll the balls in the shredded coconut to coat and place on a plate lined with grease proof paper.
  4. Set the bliss balls in the freezer for about an hour and take out just before serving.Or leave in the fridge for around 4/5 hours to set nicely.

The bliss balls will last for about a week when stored in an airtight container in the fridge.

These are super yummy on the go snacks and I also love them with Kite hill yogurts for a evening desert :). You canals get creative with bliss balls and add dried fruit, other nuts and flavours such as cinnamon.
